Checklist

Implementing a trading checklist is a vital part of the trading process as it allows traders to stay disciplined, stick to the trading plan, and build trust. Maintaining a trading checklist provides traders with a list of questions to be answered by traders before carrying out trades.

The Ultimate Crypto Trading Page Process

Lets make it simple

Here are the steps we follow when placing a trade.

1. Pick a crypto pair to trade. We focus on btcusd . (By focusing on just one crypto you can get a better gage and focus better)

2. Plot support and resitant zones on chart. Do this on the 1 day and 1 week charts.

3. Analyse the charts from this page.

4. Workout what trade you want to take. Is it a swing trade or an intra day trade?

 5. Workout entry price and stop loss + what is the risk to reward

6.Run through checklist found on this page.

7. Trade is now ready to be placed.

Swing Trading Chart – long term trades.

This chart is used for trades which are held over a number or days/weeks for large price movements

You can also use the chart to gage the price movement of the crypto trading pair.

The below chart is also be good to highlight when it is good to buy physical crypto.

Time Frame = 4 hour

You can use higher time frames but we find the 4 hour chart works well.

How does the swing trading chart work?

Note the chart pattern, and that which I have numbered 1, 2, and 3. This would be a good buy signal.

Intraday Trading Chart – short term trades

This chart is used for trades which are held for a few hours.

Time Frame: 15 minites (favourite), 30 minites, 1 hour and 4 hour

How does the swing trading chart work?

This system is a very simple, just 2 steps to follow. Lets call this “INTRA BABY.”

Below is ticker BTC, 15min. chart (the default setting of my day-trading chart).
The bottom oscillator and the price action must correlate GREEN, GREEN, as circled 1,2, for a “buy signal” to trigger.

Now below, this would be a good “sell signal/short”
Note that both the oscillator and the price action are RED.

Top Trading Indicators

Trading indicators are part of the strategy of any technical trader. Paired with the right risk management tools, this can help you gain a better understanding of price trends.

MACD

MACD is an acronym for Moving Average Convergence Divergence. This indicator is used to define the moving averages that suggest a new trend, whether they are bullish or bearish.
